Mintz Elementary School
The renovation of the 58,000 S.F. campus is an on-going project focused primarily on exterior painting with repairs to damage caused by water intrusion. The project is divided into three phases. In Phase I, the team determined the cause and extent of water intrusion into select classrooms by performing forensic and invasive investigations. Phase II involves creating a record set of as-built drawings and providing recommendations for a new contemporary color palette that includes protective paint coatings to protect from further deterioration. Phase III will identify interior areas to receive select paint finishes, provide interior accessories (e.g. corner guards), and provide ADA compliant room signage.
